Cancellation Policy
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows:
- 10 % of the tour payment will apply if cancellation is made between 30 to 45 days of start of tour program
- 30% of the tour payment will apply if cancelled between 15 to 30 days of start of tour program.
- 50% of the tour payment will apply if cancelled between 14 to 7 days of start of tour program.
- 100% of the tour payment will apply if cancelled within 7days of start of tour program or after arrival to Bhutan

Do I need a visa to visit Bhutan?
Yes, you do need to obtain it before visiting Bhutan. However, for Indian citizens, you need to obtain an entry permit from the immigration office at the Indo-Bhutan border.
What are the documents required to process the visa?
A passport copy is required. The passport must be valid for six months from the intended date of departure from the Kingdom.

How much is the visa fee and how long does it take to issue?
The visa fee is USD 40 per person and it is non-refundable. While the process to issue the visa is usually quick, the visa can take up to five working days to process. But kindly note we can apply for your Visa only after transferring the Government SDF & Visa processing fee.

What is Sustainable Development Fee?
The SDF in Bhutan is the Sustainable Development Fee, a mandatory daily tax paid by international visitors to the government to support the nation’s environmental, cultural, and social programs. It acts as the core of Bhutan’s high-value, low-impact tourism policy.
Fee Rates and Rules
- International adults: USD $100 per person per night.
- Children aged 6 to 11: USD $50 per person per night (50% discount).
- Children aged 5 and under: Exempt from the fee.
- Exclusions: The SDF is separate from daily tour costs like hotels, food, and guides, which you must book and pay for separately.
- Regional visitors: Indian nationals pay a separate regional rate (INR 1,200 per night for adults)

Where can I exchange currency?
Visitors can change to local currency Ngultrum (Nu), upon arrival at Paro international Airport or at the banks. Most of the hotels are registered as Authorized Money Exchanger.
